About the RoleAs Director of Finance, you'll take on a strategic leadership role in driving financial clarity and operational excellence across the company. You'll collaborate closely with the executive team, oversee budgets, forecasts, and automation tools, and bring a strong compliance mindset to help us scale responsibly.

ResponsibilitiesFinancial Management
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting with clarity and accuracy
- Develop robust forecasting tools and dashboards to guide executive decisions
- Own the budgeting process across teams
- Prepare financial presentations for internal stakeholders
- Ensure full compliance with Canadian accounting standards and regulations
- Manage cash flow, financial risk, and strategic planning
- Collaborate with auditors and manage audit documentation
Controls & Compliance
- Build internal controls and approval hierarchies
- Maintain compliance with all financial procedures and regulations
- Conduct regular internal audits and improve efficiencies
Required
- Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or Business
- CPA designation (or in-progress)
- 5–10 years of experience in financial leadership roles
- Expertise in accounting software, ERP systems, and RPA tools
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
- A sharp eye for compliance and detail
Preferred
- Experience with financial automation tools
- Exposure to people operations or HR collaboration
- Background in high-growth, scaling companies
