About the Role

As Director of Finance, you'll take on a strategic leadership role in driving financial clarity and operational excellence across the company. You'll collaborate closely with the executive team, oversee budgets, forecasts, and automation tools, and bring a strong compliance mindset to help us scale responsibly.

Responsibilities

Financial Management

  • Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting with clarity and accuracy
  • Develop robust forecasting tools and dashboards to guide executive decisions
  • Own the budgeting process across teams
  • Prepare financial presentations for internal stakeholders
  • Ensure full compliance with Canadian accounting standards and regulations
  • Manage cash flow, financial risk, and strategic planning
  • Collaborate with auditors and manage audit documentation

Controls & Compliance

  • Build internal controls and approval hierarchies
  • Maintain compliance with all financial procedures and regulations
  • Conduct regular internal audits and improve efficiencies
What You Bring

Required

  • Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, or Business
  • CPA designation (or in-progress)
  • 5–10 years of experience in financial leadership roles
  • Expertise in accounting software, ERP systems, and RPA tools
  • Advanced Excel and data analysis skills
  • A sharp eye for compliance and detail

Preferred

  • Experience with financial automation tools
  • Exposure to people operations or HR collaboration
  • Background in high-growth, scaling companies
