Due to ongoing growth, we require a Jr. Mechanical Designer/Drafter.
Position: Mechanical Designer For Grain Trailers.Qualifications:

• Drafting and detailing of truck chassis and various mechanical and sheet metal components.
• Know about design, manufacturing principles and machine shop practices.
• Have a mechanical aptitude and good math skills.
• Ability to use measuring tools and gauges.
• Knowledge of general dimensioning and tolerancing practices.
• Poses attention to detail.

Specific job duties:

• Create CAD models (on-shape) and drawings from sketches, physical samples or verbal instructions.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Microsoft.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.

Education:

• Post-secondary education in mechanical technology.
