** Raspers Operator/ Jecc Operator/ Mills Operator/ Grans Operator

Night Shift: 7:00pm-7:00am

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Start-up and shutdown of machines
• Complete pre-start checklists and daily production reports
• Assist with scheduled maintenance (weekly)
• Monitor belts and machines to ensure no jams, stoppages, overall performance of machine
• Monitor metal detectors and look for contaminants in material (metal, wood, debris, etc.)
• Forklift Operation and staging experience
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and make adjustments as required
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Assist other operators when required

Requirements:

• Forklift experience
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
• Must be mechanically inclined with good problem-solving skills
• Excellent attendance & punctuality
• Fast learner who can follow instructions
• Able to stand for duration of shift and constantly lift to 50lbs
• Previous experience as a machine operator in a production/manufacturing facility is an asset
