Position: General Labourer / Plant Spareboard

Location: Golden, B.C.

We are seeking reliable and motivated individuals to join our manufacturing team as General Labourers at the PWT mill in Golden, B.C. As a General Labourer, you will play a crucial role in our production process, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our manufacturing facility.

Hourly Wage: $34.875 
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform various physical tasks, including but not limited to lifting, carrying, pulling, and sorting veneer
• Operate machinery and equipment to assist in the manufacturing process 
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area 
• Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards 
• Assist in loading and unloading materials or finished products 
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve production goals 
• Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding health, safety, quality, etc. 
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor 

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent 
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to follow instructions accurately and reliably 
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 50 lbs, repetitive motions, etc.) 
• Good communication skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities 
• Basic knowledge of safety protocols and procedures 
• Flexibility to work different shifts and hours 
• Reliable, trustworthy, and proactive with a positive, cooperative attitude 
• Strong work ethic and focus on quality and safety 
• Ability to attend work regularly, arrive punctually and consistently 
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
