As a member of the Door Installation team and as a new Ventri family member, you will join a diverse, dynamic group of highly motivated individuals that bring with them a wide array of talents, skills and backgrounds. Reporting to the Service Manager, this role will perform various tasks while working out in the field such as installations and repair service, including inspections of overhead doors and loading docks.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Repair automatic and manual overhead doorsand docksat customer's facility or home
  
• 
  Install and service commercial and residential garage doors
• 
  Create and maintain relationships with customers
• 
  Read manuals and use resources to correctly perform repairs for different brands of doors serviced
• 
  Use welding techniques to assist with operations and repairs
• 
  Maintain inventory on company service vehicle in order to effectively perform service calls
• 
  Monitor vehicle for potential service issues and report them to management
• 
  Rotate the afterhours phone between other employees and respond to emergency calls
• 
  Work efficiently in small teams to complete daily tasks and assignments
• 
  Remain in contact with the Service Administrator daily

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• 2+ year of experience working with overhead doors
• Additional experience in entry automatics, hollow metal and/or Locksmithing would be a asset.
• 
  Electromechanical repair skills are an asset
• 
  Must have a valid G class driver's license
• 
  Strong communication and analytical skills
• 
  Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• 
  Willing and able to work on a rotating on-call schedule when required
