Scrum Master - Guidewire Delivery to lead Agile delivery and foster high-performing Scrum teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This is an ideal role for professionals with over 8 years of experience in Agile project delivery, particularly within the insurance domain and the Guidewire ecosystem.
Location: GTA, Ontario, Canada (Hybrid - 3 days onsite)
What You Will Do:
• Lead and facilitate all core Scrum ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Proactively identify and resolve technical, organizational, or interpersonal blockers to maintain delivery momentum.
• Coach team members on Agile practices and foster a self-organizing, cross-functional team culture.
• Strengthen collaboration and transparency across development, business, and stakeholder teams.
• Ensure alignment with Agile principles, Scrum best practices, and organizational governance frameworks.
• Track, manage, and report on delivery metrics including sprint burndown, capacity, and velocity.
• Support the Product Owner in backlog grooming, prioritization, and user story refinement.


• Manage dependencies across user stories and delivery streams using JIRA and SharePoint.
• Capture and action feedback during retrospectives to support continuous improvement.
• Maintain high-quality user stories with clear acceptance criteria and definitions of done.
Requirements:
• 8+ years of experience in Agile project delivery, focusing on Scrum methodologies.
• Guidewire implementation experience is mandatory.
• Scrum certification (e.g., PSM, CSM, or equivalent) strongly preferred.
• Agile delivery experience in the insurance industry is an asset.
• Proven ability to coach and mentor Agile teams toward continuous improvement.
• Strong leadership and influencing skills in cross-functional and matrixed environments.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.

Note: Candidates must be in Canada and have an Open Work Permit/PR/Citizenship or otherwise be eligible to work in Canada.


• Skilled in identifying risks, managing dependencies, and resolving conflicts constructively.
• Hands-on experience with Agile tools like JIRA and collaboration platforms like SharePoint.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on delivery and results.
