Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Account Manager to join our team! Working in conjunction with Tripemco' s Account Executives (AE), the Account Manager (AM) is responsible for front facing client management and the delivery of seamless service in alignment with Tripemco's high standards of service excellence. The AM nurtures key relationships with clients and insurers and are meticulous in their execution of the detailed work involved in managing a portfolio of clients. The AM is required to perform all job duties consistent with Tripemco's core values and operating policies while fostering positive relations with staff, stakeholders, clients, and the community. This is an in office position to start, leading into a possible hybrid schedule, dependent on successful performance of all job duties.

Responsibilities
· Effectively communicates and provides prompt, courteous and professional service to clients;
· Efficiently executes client and policy processes and workflows, including but not limited to new business, renewals, endorsements, cancellations, etc.;
· Accurately handles change requests, ensuring risk management is prioritized;
· In coordination with AEs, the AM supports customers by helping them understand their coverage, and assists with any claims, as required;
· Facilitates exceptional claims service from the beginning to the end of the claim cycle;
· Manages and assesses client's insurance needs to provide quality technical insurance consultation and recommendations;
· Provides creative solutions for all assigned portfolio accounts to meet the unique needs of the clients;
· Negotiates terms and conditions with insurance companies and arranges coverage, as required;
· Reviews the requirements for Certificates of Insurance, as necessary;
· Ensures accurate and detailed client portfolio management in the execution of tasks such as tracking policy changes, meeting important deadlines, and complying with legal regulations;
· Works closely with AEs to identify additional lines of business and cross-selling opportunities for shared portfolios;
· Manages accounts receivables to ensure timely payments and continuity of coverage, as required;
· Manages and facilitates the processing and administration of monetary transactions;
· Ensures all relevant documents and correspondence is stored in the Broker Management System (BMS), including but limited to internal and external correspondence, claims notices, client requests, etc.
· Oversees the maintenance and updating of policy information and underwriting details in PolicyWorks;
· Navigates company portals and systems to manage client accounts
· Delegates tasks to the Junior Account Manager (JAM) and/or the Account Administrator (AA);
· Provides back up coverage for the team, as required; and
· Performs additional related duties, as required
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
· RIBO licence required;
· High school diploma or equivalent required;
· A minimum of 3-5 years of previous work experience in a Commercial Lines Account Manager position required;
· Post secondary diploma or degree in business, insurance, or a related field considered an asset;
· Working towards CAIB or CIP designation considered an asset;
· Computer savviness and proficiency with the MS Office Suite of programs, especially Outlook, Excel & Word required;
· Experience working with PowerBroker and PolicyWorks considered an asset;
· Team player attitude with a strong work ethic and excellent oral and written communication skills; Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in the completion of tasks;
· Highly organized with the ability to prioritize/manage workload under pressure within tight deadlines;
· Change resilient and flexible, with the ability to problem solve with confidence; and
· Ability to perform all work in alignment with Tripemco's core values of accountability, passion, respect & integrity, innovation & creativity, and objectivity.
