Accountabilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain integration, UI, and component tests to ensure product reliability across systems.
- Collaborate closely with developers and product stakeholders to identify test automation opportunities and drive testable designs.
- Debug, triage, and analyze test results, raising high-quality defects supported by detailed documentation.
- Participate in code reviews, contribute to documentation, and follow SDLC best practices within an agile workflow.
- Build and refine automation frameworks, test harnesses, and performance tests using tools like Playwright and SQL.
- Advocate for testing methodologies and contribute to roadmap initiatives by identifying areas for automation and quality improvements.
- Help define and implement test strategies for components and features, ensuring comprehensive coverage and performance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 4 years of experience in QA or Test Engineering within software development environments.
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript/TypeScript automation frameworks (e.g., Playwright).
- Strong proficiency in writing and executing SQL queries for data validation and analysis.
- Familiarity with source control tools (e.g., Git) and experience working in agile, DevOps, or TDD environments.
- Exposure to AWS services, Linux/macOS operating systems, and functional testing practices.
- Strong debugging, communication, and problem-solving skills with a proactive, detail-oriented mindset.
- Comfortable with both manual and automated testing approaches, with a passion for product quality and customer experience.
