JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Hair and Esthetics Assistant to support our team of professional stylists and estheticians. This role involves assisting with day-to-day salon operations, preparing workstations, maintaining cleanliness, and helping ensure a high-quality experience for clients.

POSITION DUTIES:

Booking clients

Inventory and stocking shelves

Cleaning (sweep, mop, garbage, clean coloring bowls and brushes)

Cashing clients out

Assisting with hair and esthetic services

Social media content creating

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

1. Must demonstrate enrollment as a full-time student in the previous academic semester school year and be returning full-time in the fall of 2025/2026 Academic school year

2. Must be eligible for Sagamok Anishinabek ISETP program funding (member of Sagamok, valid SIN)

3. Must have, or be willing to obtain First Aid, WHMIS & Health and Safety in 4 Steps
