Garden City Tree & Landscape Ltd. is hiring a full-time, year-round Landscape Construction Project Manager to lead and execute high-quality commercial landscape projects across the Victoria area. This position requires proven expertise in hardscape and softscape landscape construction. The role is mostly spent on-site, leading teams and overseeing work directly, with some time dedicated to office-based planning, coordination, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of commercial landscape construction projectsfrom planning through final completion.
• Be present on sites frequently to lead, mentor crews, provide layout guidance, resolve issues, and maintain quality and safety standards.
• Coordinate project schedules, material procurement, and subcontractors to meet production goals and client expectations.
• Assist estimations for new commercial projects and change orders with the estimating team.
• Track project costs, approve timesheets, and ensure accurate daily production reporting.
• Manage RFIs, RFQs, CCNs, and CCOs in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain clear communication with clients, consultants, and internal teams throughout the projects.
• Assist field teams with documentation, layout, scheduling, and troubleshooting.
• Support the operations team during winter for snow and anti-ice response.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Foreman or supervisory role, leading full-scope hardscape and softscape construction (commercial experience preferred).
• Strong understanding of landscape construction methods, material calculations, and production rates.
• Skilled at reading and interpreting landscape construction drawings and site plans.
• Proficient in project scheduling and logistics coordination.
• Effective communicator with strong leadership, mentoring, and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and project management tools; LMN or equivalent software experience is an asset.
• Valid Class 5 Drivers License (required).

Compensation

90.000 100.000 per year depending on skills and experience.

Schedule:

• Regular: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Seasonal Hours (May 12 to September 28, 2025):Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Different Greater Victoria work sites.
