M3 Staffing is hiring Skilled Deficiency Technicians for construction finishing work. This role involves completing final touch-ups and repairs during the closing phase of a construction project. Tasks may include drywall repairs, paint corrections, caulking, minor electrical (lights out), and other finish-related deficiencies. Key Responsibilities:

• Perform drywall patching, sanding, and paint touch-ups
• Address lights out issues (e.g., replacing fixtures or bulbs, basic troubleshooting)
• Inspect and correct minor deficiencies throughout finished units or buildings
• Apply caulking, trim touch-ups, and general cosmetic repairs
• Coordinate with site supervisors to ensure all deficiency items are completed before turnover
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
  

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in construction finishing, drywall, or general renovation
• Familiarity with tools and materials used in drywall and finishing work
• Ability to perform minor electrical tasks (e.g., replacing fixtures or light bulbs safely)
• Detail-oriented, with a focus on quality workmanship
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Must have basic PPE and a valid safety ticket (e.g., Fall Protection, WHMIS)

Nice to Haves (But Not Necessary):

• Have access to own vehicle or reliable transportation.
• Has Fall Protection, First Aid and/or WHMIS.
• Tickets in Heavy Equipment Use.
