A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience, is preferred.

Hours: Monday - Friday 37.5 hours but may be required to work occasionally on weekends and evenings
Location: Surrey and Hybrid - must travel to Surrey office at least once per month
Rate: $27/hour
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Systems & Data Management
- Maintain the integrity and accuracy of our HRIS Systems (Dayforce and PowerApp) and SharePoint systems and workflows. Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to optimize our people management systems.
- Track and ensure the completion of new hire pre-boarding documentation and processes
- Monitor Dayforce Support inbox to respond to employee inquiries and escalate issues as necessary
- Assist with regular evaluation, audit and analysis of HRIS and SharePoint systems to ensure data accuracy, current information, and reporting capability that support our people processes and business operations. .
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve systems and practices to better support employee and contractor lifecycle management.
- Support the creation and update of training materials and resources on LMS systems related to our people to facilitate team success.
- Collaborate with the P&C team to develop and maintain up-to-date processes, workflows, templates, system documentation, user guides, job aids, presentations, handbooks, and other resources.
- Create, organize, and maintain employee and contractor records, ensuring data updates in systems and drives, and that all regulatory and corporate documentation requirements are met and current
- Update staff information in HRIS systems as necessary
- Provide basic technical support for IT issues
- Prepare sensitive, confidential correspondence, documents, and monthly reports.
- Provide frontline support to employees and managers regarding P&C policies, processes, and procedures.
- Participate in recruitment activities, including:
- As assigned, coordinate/implement recruitment strategies like career fairs, info sessions, etc.
- Assisting in building and updating talent pipeline reports.
- Assisting with scheduling speakers and presenters for campus recruitment.
- Managing the dispatch of company swag for job fairs.
- Conducting reference checks, CRCs/VSCs.
- Promoting employer branding via social media platforms.
- Support the coordination of P&C initiatives and programs, such as:
- GRSP benefit tracking (monitoring employee eligibility, outreach for enrollment, degrouping terminated employees).
- Contributing to employee engagement activities (e.g., social events).
- Assisting with onboarding and training programs, including organizing and conducting new hire onboarding sessions.
- Managing employee and contractor lifecycle activities, ensuring accurate record updates and reporting.
- As assigned supporting and assisting in health & safety initiatives, including disability case management, and WorkSafe BC reporting.
