Position Summary:

In the role of Warehouse Associate, the primary responsibility is to ensure that every part that enters or leaves our warehouse is handled with care. The Warehouse Associate's main responsibility will entail picking, tagging and putting away various parts. This role will report into the Eastern Warehouse Manager.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Receive and count incoming parts, ensuring accuracy between the physical count and packing lists or purchase order quantities
  • Accurately record received part information into computer based inventory management system
  • Accurately read purchase orders and pick the correct parts quickly and correctly
  • Identify part location and label item with correct barcode
  • Accurately shelf parts in correct warehouse location
  • Assemble customer orders, picking parts, confirming part numbers and quantities

Qualifications:

  • Positive attitude and team work is a must
  • Warehouse experience is an asset but not an absolute
  • Ability to adapt to change and quick turn around
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work in a high pressure, fast paced environment
  • Strong time management, organization and multitasking abilities
  • Team orientated and customer service approach to work
  • Strong attendance record and punctuality
  • Ability to learn and understand our computer system
  • Ability to continuously stand and walk on concrete surface
  • Ability to intermittently lift 50 lbs unassisted
