Altis Recruitment is grateful to support our client in the Broader Public Sector to recruit a Parking Operations Coordinator for a 12-month contract based in Toronto. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in a similar role in banking, gaming, parking, or retail, with proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and Power BI.
Role Type: Fully On-site
Work Hours: Monday-Friday, 6AM - 2PM.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily parking operations, including planning, organizing, and assigning work related to equipment, technology, and cash management.
- Monitor contractor and vendor performance using KPIs and other metrics, recommending improvements as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and data in various asset management and reporting systems.
- Develop, update, and implement operational procedures, manuals, and parking rate configurations.
- Manage work orders to support efficient service delivery across parking operations.
- Coordinate cash collection, replenishment, and reconciliation of equipment revenue, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Identify and address operational risks, inefficiencies, and opportunities for loss prevention.
- Liaise with internal teams and external partners to support compliance with policies, safety standards, and customer service expectations.
- Produce regular and ad hoc reports on parking performance, drawing insights to guide operational decisions.
- Support projects and initiatives by contributing operational expertise, preparing plans, and assisting with rollouts.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary diploma, degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience in transportation, operations, or customer service.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in a similar role, ideally within banking, gaming, parking, and retail industries.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and PowerBI; Experience using SAP to input real-time and accurate updates on the status of operational functions.
- Familiarity with municipal regulations and by-laws related to parking is an asset.
- Valid Class G driver's license (Ontario).
