Position Summary/Objective:
We are seeking a results-driven and collaborative Brand Manager – Private Label to join our growing Private Label & Emerging Brands team. Reporting to the Director of Marketing - Private Label and Emerging Brands, this individual will help manage and grow our Private Label product portfolio by executing product development initiatives and bringing consumer-first innovation to market. This role requires strong project management, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to translate consumer insights into commercially viable products.

Primary Responsibilities:
Product Development Execution:
- Support the execution of innovation and renovation projects across the Private Label portfolio from concept through commercialization.
- Partner with R&D, Sales, Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations to bring products to life — on time and on budget.
- Assist in developing product briefs based on consumer, category, and customer insights.
Consumer & Market Insight:
- Stay plugged into emerging food trends and consumer needs, especially within private label categories.
- Support research initiatives to uncover white space opportunities and validate concepts.
Project Management:
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, tracking progress and coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure key milestones are met.
- Maintain project documentation, timelines, and approvals to ensure flawless execution.
Customer Support & Commercial Readiness:
- Support the development of customer-facing materials such as sell sheets and product stories to drive retailer excitement and buy-in.
- Partner with Sales to understand customer needs and tailor innovation pipelines accordingly.
Portfolio Support & Analysis:
- Assist in maintaining the Private Label product roadmap, identifying gaps, and assessing product performance using data and insights.
- Partner with Finance on forecast modeling, pricing strategy, and margin analysis.
Brand Building & Visibility
- Support efforts to elevate the perception and visibility of Riverside Private Label as a brand in its own right.
- Lead the development of digital assets and presence, including building and managing a dedicated Private Label website.
- Manage and execute brand presence at trade shows and industry events in collaboration with Sales.
- Track and manage allocated brand-building spend, ensuring investment efficiency and alignment with team objectives.
Education & Qualifications:
- Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 3–5+ years of experience in CPG, retail, or food product management — ideally with exposure to private label or B2B innovation.
- Strong experience working cross-functionally across Sales, R&D, Supply Chain, and Finance.
- Familiarity with data tools such as Nielsen, IRI, or SPINS is a plus.
