Job Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Brand Ambassador to represent our brand and engage with customers in various settings. The ideal candidate will have a passion for promoting products, excellent communication skills, and the ability to connect with diverse audiences. As a Brand Ambassador, you will play a crucial role in enhancing brand awareness and driving sales through effective product demonstrations and customer interactions.

Note: This is a temp-to-perm role hired through a staffing agency. Candidates will begin on an hourly contract basis, with the potential to be hired permanently after 9–12 months based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and connect with every customer authentically — no sales scripts here.
  • Guide customers through the full experience: product discovery, demos, and closing the sale.
  • Deliver responsive customer service across phone, email, and in-person interactions.
  • Engage with customers on social media platforms (e.g., Instagram DMs, comments).
  • Use platforms like Shopify to manage orders, track inventory, and handle transactions.
  • Maintain a polished, visually appealing showroom that reflects the brand.
  • Collaborate closely with team members — everyone contributes across roles.
  • Take ownership of showroom layout, cleanliness, merchandising, and product readiness.
  • Support product photoshoots — styling, setup, and coordination.
  • Create dynamic, on-brand content for social media featuring new arrivals, behind-the-scenes moments, and customer highlights.
  • Manage the lifecycle of demo products — strategically rotate and liquidate as needed.
  • Update floor layout and displays based on inventory, sales trends, and seasonal promotions.
  • Assemble new products with care to ensure the space is always "showroom ready."
  • Provide tailored service to B2B clients, including product expertise, quoting, and follow-ups.
  • Use AI tools and automation to enhance customer experience and streamline tasks.
  • Protect and elevate the store's online presence — manage reviews and encourage feedback.

What You Bring

  • 2+ years of experience in retail sales (furniture or home décor is a strong asset).
  • Warm, confident, and design-conscious — you know your boucle from your velvet.
  • Familiar with tools like Shopify, email systems, and phone platforms.
  • Comfortable with tech — quick to learn and adapt to digital tools.
  • Natural communicator with high energy and strong customer instincts.
  • Independent and proactive — you take initiative and follow through.
  • Content creation skills or interest in building brand presence on social.
  • Ability to support both retail and B2B customers with professionalism.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Interior design or visual merchandising background.
  • Ability to multitask effectively in high-traffic situations.
  • Sales style rooted in storytelling and lifestyle alignment.
  • French language skills (bilingualism is a plus).
