Your Markham Violin Teaching Career Starts Here.
RequirementsWhat We're Looking For:
You're passionate about violin and it shows. You genuinely care about your students' musical journey and get excited when they nail that tricky bow technique or finally master vibrato.
You have the credentials. RCM Grade 10 Violin minimum, but we'd love to see your ARCT or university music degree (B.Mus., M.Mus.). Got a Master's or higher? We can fast-track you straight to our Principal tier with better compensation.
You've taught before and loved it. Whether it's kids just starting to hold a bow or adults returning to violin, you know how to adapt your teaching for different ages and skill levels.
You think like a professional. You're reliable, you communicate well, and you can manage your own schedule. Basically, you treat teaching like the serious profession it is.
You're great with people. Parents love chatting with you, kids feel comfortable in lessons, and you can explain complex violin concepts in ways that actually make sense.
You're Markham-based or York Region-friendly. You have your own studio space or you're happy to travel around Markham and surrounding areas for lessons. (We do have online students too, but with 1500+ teachers already, we're really focusing on in-person instruction right now.)
You want to grow. You're not just looking for a few students - you want to build something meaningful in Markham's vibrant music scene.
Sound like you? Markham's violin students are waiting.
