We are looking for a strategic and people-focused Manager of People and Culture to join our growing team at PureLogic IT.In this role, you will lead all aspects of human resourcesfrom recruitment and onboarding to performance management, employee engagement, and employer branding. Youll work closely with senior leadership to shape our workplace culture, develop talent strategies, and ensure we continue to be a high-performing, inclusive, and future-ready organization.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Coordinating and supporting the recruitment process;
  • Onboarding newcomers to the company;
  • Determining suitable salaries and remuneration plans across job categories;
  • Developing adequate induction and training;
  • Supporting employee opportunities for professional development;
  • Assist management team in developing succession & development plans for key positions ;
  • Institute a company wide performance management and review process;
  • Maintains organization staff by establishing a recruiting, testing, and interviewing program; counseling managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit interviews; recommending changes.
  • Maintain Bamboo HR software tool to enable performance evaluation and employee development.
  • Responsible for managing external employer brand recognition applications (e.g., GPTW, Top Employers) through data gathering, narrative development, and employee survey coordination.
  • Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
  • Maintains a pay plan by conducting periodic pay surveys; scheduling and conducting job evaluations; preparing pay budgets; monitoring and scheduling individual pay actions; recommending, planning, and implementing pay structure revisions.
  • Prepares employees for assignments by establishing and conducting orientation and training programs.
  • Develop & maintain key policy documents aligned with relevant government bodies & industry requirements
  • Maintain 18 month rolling window of future proofing activities pertaining to HR
  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with local colleges, universities, and technical institutes to support co-op, internship, and new graduate recruitment programs.
  • Design and manage end-to-end student placement strategies, including onboarding, mentorship, performance feedback, and post-placement conversion.
  • Represent the company at career fairs, campus events, and advisory boards to promote employer brand and attract top emerging talent.

Required Skills

  • Bachelors degree from a four-year college or university or similar work experience required
  • 5+ years of experience in progressively responsible human resource roles
  • 3+ years of experience in Labor Relations and Employee Relations
  • 3+ years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Have established performance evaluations plans in the past
  • Comfortable using various HR software
  • Bilingualism is an asset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Enjoys working in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational, judgement and leadership skills.
  • Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills
  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
  • Proven ability to develop and implement employee engagement strategies that measurably improve workplace culture
  • Experience completing external workplace culture or engagement audits and managing the associated reporting processes.
  • Skilled in aligning HR programs with values that support employee wellbeing, inclusion, and long-term retention.

  • Successfully leading PureLogic through external culture recognition programs such as Great Place to Work and Top Employers.
  • Building and maintaining high-impact partnerships with local colleges and universities to attract top emerging talent.
  • Creating a cohesive, future-proof HR roadmap that addresses both short-term needs and long-term workforce planning.
  • Fostering a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture through thoughtful policies, training, and development programs.
  • Leveraging HR data and systems (e.g., BambooHR) to provide meaningful insights and support data-driven decision making.
