This role is not just a sales and marketing role. It is also a business entrepreneur development course. In the coming 5 years, I am looking to bring in someone as a part-owner.

We are hiring for a skilled, up and coming marketer and sales person to spearhead our lead and sales development efforts. There are 4 phases of graduation within a 6 month span, to go from door to door lead generator and commercial calling sales agent, to lead sales manager and estimator.

Each phase comes with deliberate, skill building activities for your career benefit, and a proven and tried method of generating money for yourself, and the company. Ideally, you are a candidate looking to build a career for 2 to 20 years, in a safe, and thriving residential and commercial painting industry.

Within the first year, a candidate has the ability to make between $55k and $85k. By year 2, those numbers can increase exponentially as we grow.

Ideally you have some if not all of the qualifications below:

  1. You like talking to people, and can face rejection
  2. You are persistent, goal oriented, and unwavering in your self-confidence
  3. You have admin skills, you can make concise notes, good reports, and on time communication
  4. You are physical, and don't mind walking a lot of the days
  5. You like the trades/have worked in the trades
  6. You take responsibility for your own success, and don't wait for others.
  7. You are fair, and open about challenges.
  8. You want to potentially own your own company one day.
  9. You are entrepreneurial in nature.
  10. You understand that profits come from your effort.
  11. You like being coached and want mentors in life.

*+ Though it could help you, I don't necessarily care about degrees and certifications. A man or woman is a measure of the person they are today, and the effort they are willing to put in to grow and build their business +*

  • I also spent 3 years as an award winning sales rep for Sherwin Williams to learn chemical coatings while COVID-19 decreased our business
  • I am an avid musician, former D1 Golfer in America, and thrive on coaching and growing others careers around me
  • At Monarch, we have 2 fantastic professional crews, and 7 total painters.
  • The product is selling great paint jobs to clients in the GTHA, the benefit is building a family oriented business we all can thrive off of in the coming 20 years

Hiring Process

  1. We start with a phone call. I read all cover letters, and resume's to ask some starting questions. The goal of our first call is to determine if we are a fit for each other.
  2. We then do an in person meet. It can sometimes take 2 hours to go through the role in full,and get to know one another.
  3. Then there is a contract review meet, and in between I am happy to talk to your spouse, parents, friends, etc...
  4. We are looking to hire for late July
