Digital Sales and Marketing Coordinator

Newcom Media is seeking a highly motivated and digitally proficient Digital Sales and Marketing Coordinator to join our Ad-Operations team. This position plays a key role in the successful execution of our marketing campaigns. They will work collaboratively with external clients and internal departments, including sales, email marketing, audience development, content solutions, events, and accounting, to support the coordination, scheduling, and reporting of integrated digital marketing initiatives.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment, manage multiple priorities with strong organizational skills, and take initiative to ensure the timely and accurate delivery of campaign components. Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and track campaign deliverables, including creative assets, ad materials, and performance reports
- Schedule and book digital advertising campaigns across platforms (ROS, eNewsletters, native, display, and video)
- Interpret and manage insertion orders (I/Os) with a clear understanding of advertising products and formats
- Traffic campaigns across internal systems, ensuring timely and accurate delivery
- Monitor inventory availability to support sales planning and forecasting
- Utilize marketing platforms and analytics tools to generate insights and support optimizations
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure seamless campaign execution
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of marketing programs to meet client and business goals
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field (e.g., marketing, communications, media, or business) with 1–2+ years of experience in a digital marketing, sales support, or advertising operations role
- Strong understanding of digital media concepts, formats, and platforms is essential
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced skills in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data manipulation, charts)
- Comfortable learning and using ad serving and audience management platforms (Google Ad Manager, customer data platforms)
- Experience working with ticketing or project management systems (YouTrack)
- Familiarity with web analytics tools (Google Analytics) to derive actionable insights
- Exposure to web development and content management systems (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WordPress) is an asset
- Graphic design experience is a plus
