Full Time Maintenance Technician in Mississauga

Must be able to work 40 hours a week on SIN.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in maintenance or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Electrical certification is a bonus.
• Forklift and Scissor lift/Aerial licenses.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Compensation: $25-40/hr depending on experience.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment and facility systems.
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues to minimize downtime.
• Conduct routine inspections and scheduled maintenance to keep systems running efficiently.
• Assist with basic electrical repairs when necessary.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety protocols and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repairs performed on equipment and systems.
• Collaborate with team members to support production goals and respond quickly to maintenance needs.
