We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to join our Client Reporting team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and a background in business and systems analysis. This role requires excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively liaise between business users and development teams. RESPONSIBILITIES:- Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements for client reporting solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Work closely with developers to ensure solutions meet business objectives.
- Manage and track project requirements, issues, and progress using JIRA and Confluence.
- Assist in testing and validating client reporting outputs to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee mock and production runs for quarterly statements and coordinate with other IT teams.
- Facilitate communication between business users and the development team, ensuring alignment on priorities and deliverables.
- Provide ongoing support for enhancements and issue resolution related to client reporting.
- Minimum experience 2-years Mutual Funds/Securities industry.
- Previous business analyst/analytical experience an asset.
- Understanding of financial services, client reporting, or tax reporting processes is a plus.
- Post Secondary Education
- Canadian Securities Course or IFIC Sales
- Strong working knowledge of CI GAM's products.
- Knowledge or familiar with agile methodology
- Working experience with JIRA and Confluence.
- Strong Excel skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Familiarity with SQL for data analysis.
- Ability to complete multiple tasks and meet set deadlines.
- Able to effectively organize and plan projects.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including business users, developers, and QA.
