What Youll Do:

In collaboration with the Chief Human Resources Officer, the HR Program Specialist at Provincial Credit Union is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing a variety of human resource programs designed to support and enhance the employee experience, drive organizational effectiveness, and foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture.

Key Result Areas:

  • Design and implement HR programs in key areas such as Total Rewards, Recognition, Employee Engagement, Learning & Development, Career Pathing, Succession Planning, EDI, Change Management, and Employer Branding.
  • Align all programs with the credit unions strategic goals and values.
  • Partner with leaders across the organization to provide guidance and tailor HR solutions to meet their needs.
  • Use data and employee feedback to evaluate program effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead initiatives that enhance employee engagement, boost morale, and celebrate employee contributions.
  • Deliver targeted learning opportunities that support skill development and career growth.
  • Build career pathing and succession planning strategies to ensure strong talent pipelines for the future.

What You Have:

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR program development and management.

Skills and Abilities

  • Proven experience in developing and implementing HR programs across various domains.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to use data to drive decisions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively with leaders at all levels.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, trends, and legislative requirements.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically and drive innovative solutions.
