Key Responsibilities
- Comply with policies, guidelines, and regulatory requirements per the Franklin Electric Quality System.
- Follow detailed assembly instructions, processes, and procedures.
- Safely operate a forklift
- Load and unload materials from the warehouse
- Organize product and material both by hand and with a forklift
- Report problems with quality, process, equipment, and materials to Branch Manager.
- Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions.
- Meets daily production schedule as assigned.
- Uses available parts to assemble various water treatment equipment or kits according to operating instructions.
- Operates power tools and various workstations to complete assembly of scheduled parts.
- Assist with shipping/receiving when required.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- High School Diploma or Equivalent (required).
- 1-3 years or more experience working in a manufacturing type position (preferred).
- Forklift Certification (training will be provided)
- 1-3 years or more of forklift experience and safe operation of various power tools an asset
