We are currently seeking an Assistant Property Manager to join our team in Victoria. This is a key supporting role for a 800-unit residential and commercial portfolio, offering a strong blend of operational responsibility and administrative coordination. Reporting to the Regional Property Manager, you'll be integral in ensuring buildings are well-maintained, resident concerns are resolved professionally, and day-to-day property operations run smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
Property Operations
- Support the day-to-day management of a 800-unit portfolio to ensure building standards are upheld
- Conduct or assist with site inspections to monitor property conditions, identify deficiencies, and ensure safety and compliance
- Assist with vendor coordination, including sourcing quotes, preparing purchase orders, and tracking service delivery
- Help monitor expenses and support budgeting processes by preparing documentation and providing input for variance commentary
- Recommend and track necessary maintenance, repairs, and capital improvements
Tenant & Administrative Support
- Respond to resident inquiries and concerns with professionalism and urgency
- Assist with lease administration, including reviewing paperwork for accuracy and processing documentation in a timely manner
- Support tenancy-related issues by helping prepare documentation, tracking communications, and assisting with Residential Tenancy Branch (RTB) matters
- Attend hearings or arbitrations alongside senior management, as needed
- Maintain property files, reports, and internal systems to ensure accurate and organized documentation
- Participate in after-hours emergency response rotation, as required
Who You Are
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Clear and confident communication skills, especially in high-pressure or tenant-facing situations
- Proficiency with technology, including Excel and property management platforms
- A proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving
- Experience in property management, administration, customer service, or real estate is an asset
Education & Experience
- Background in real estate, building operations, or administrative support preferred
- Property management license not required
