Role Summary: NearSource is looking for a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our high-performance engineering team working on a project with a Fortune 500 product company. This role involves building scalable test automation for enterprise-grade cloud applications and collaborating with global teams to ensure software quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to collaborative development teams focused on cloud-based product testing
• Execute requirements analysis, design reviews, and risk assessments for product releases
• Design and implement automated testing tools and test cases aligned to business requirements
• Drive defect tracking and software quality initiatives across the development lifecycle
• Work closely with developers, DevOps engineers, and product designers across international locations
• Stay current with emerging tools and practices in cloud and software quality engineering
• Recommend optimizations for performance, reliability, scalability, and resilience in cloud environments
• Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture

Must-Have Skills:

• 3+ years of professional experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test
• Proficient in Python, Groovy, or Shell for automation scripting
• Experience designing and developing custom test frameworks
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Skilled in Agile methodologies, including Scrum
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• Effective collaborator in distributed, cross-functional teams

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Understanding of containerization and microservices architecture
• Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
• Familiarity with the Microsoft .NET ecosystem
