Position Overview:
This position is a seasonal contract from August 11, 2025, to March 31, 2026, with the possibility of extending to June 2026. Part-time and full-time positions are available, with the possibility of coming back every school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Capture high-quality school, graduation, group and event photography for students of all ages.
- Ensure every photo session runs smoothly and meets our high standards for image quality and customer experience.
- Engage with students, their families and school staff to create a positive and memorable photography experience.
- Set up and dismantle photography equipment onsite at schools.
- Basic photography and administrative tasks including end of day reports and image tagging.
- For some events, act as the main contact and manage student data to ensure accuracy.
Requirements:
- Photography experience is an asset but not required. We're looking for candidates who love to work with people, specifically children and youth. Our extensive training program will teach you how to take great photos!
- High-energy and fast-paced. We photograph thousands of students each week. You'll be mostly on your feet and need to be able to lift equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Community mindset and attention to detail. Candidates must know how to work as a team and care about the details.
- A valid BC driver's license is preferred but not required. We need photographers who can drive with photography gear to our shoots. Candidates without a license are still encouraged to apply as most locations are accessible by transit.
Successful candidates must also be based in the lower mainland and legally eligible to work in Canada. Since we work with children and minors, they must also pass a criminal record check.
