Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will assist with various tasks on construction sites, including site preparation, material handling, equipment operation, and general cleanup. This role requires physical stamina, attention to safety, and the ability to work well in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with loading and unloading construction materials.

• Prepare and maintain job sites by cleaning up debris, removing hazards, and setting up safety barriers.

• Operate hand and power tools as required.

• Support and work with our team of skilled tradespeople

• Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)

• Follow directions from supervisors and site managers.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Previous construction or general labour experience is an asset but not required.

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks and lift heavy materials (50 lbs or more).

• Basic understanding of construction tools and machinery.

• Strong work ethic and reliability.

• Ability to work in various weather conditions.

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.

• Safety certifications such as WHMIS, Fall Protection, or First Aid are a plus.

Working Conditions:

• Outdoor work in various weather conditions.

• Standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods.

• Use of PPE including hard hats, safety boots, gloves, and high-visibility clothing.
