Our client is searching for an HR Business Partner that will play a key role in supporting leaders and employees across all operational functions. This role encompasses a broad range of HR responsibilities including talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation planning, payroll and benefits administration, and performance management.
Your success will be defined by your ability to:
- Provide expert guidance to employees and leaders on HR policies, programs, and best practices.
- Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts and support talent attraction strategies.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
- Analyze HR data and generate reports to support strategic decision-making.
- Champion employee engagement initiatives and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
- Support payroll processing and benefits administration.
- Contribute to the implementation and optimization of a new HRIS and payroll system.
- Coordinate annual policy acknowledgment processes.
- Support key HR programs including talent reviews, succession planning, and compensation cycles.
- Ensure compliance with Employment Standards and reduce legal risk.
- Lead and support various HR projects as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
- CPHR designation or equivalent experience is an asset.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an HR Business Partner or Senior Generalist role, including payroll processing.
- Strong expertise in payroll and benefits, performance management, employee engagement, and employee relations.
- Proven ability to develop and implement people strategies aligned with business needs.
- Experience coaching leaders and managing organizational change.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and influencing skills.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office, with strong data analysis and reporting skills.
