At Evans Hunt, our mission is to execute projects seamlessly from project intake to launch for clients of all sizes across different industries and marketing needs. We are currently looking for an experienced Project Manager who will be responsible for the successful completion of projects that are largely digital with a focus on website maintenance, creative and media-based.

Who were looking for

As part of the Client Engagement team, the ideal candidate for the Project Manager will check off the boxes below.

You have a proven track record of managing a website maintenance queue. You have 3 - 5 years of experience managing website maintenance or small enhancements on a variety of different digital CMS platforms (Sanity, Wordpress, Silverstripe etc.) using a ticket management system like JIRA. You know how to triage requests coming in, prioritizing requests based on urgency, and working with a developer and QA to implement changes all the while managing client communications in a timely and professional manner.

You have a proven track record of successful projects. You have 3-5 years of experience managing various other marketing projects including campaigns, and branding. Agency experience will be considered a very helpful asset.

You have a strong attention to detail. You can excel on both large and small client portfolios. You stay on top of the details, tracking and documentation. Able to both collaborate with other Project Managers or work independently.

Youre self-motivated. You are comfortable working with limited supervision and like to be the person people come to when looking for the next step. You are passionate about ongoing learning and continuous improvement, particularly around process and methodology.

You use technology to do your best work. You have experience with collaboration and issue-tracking tools like Jira. Youre proficient with the Google Suite (Mail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides) and other productivity tools such as TeamGantt, Slack, MS Excel, MS Word, and Keynote.

A day in the life

Working at an agency, youll have the opportunity to work with various clients across a diverse range of industries simultaneously. As a Project Manager, there are a few activities that will likely take up most of your time. These include:

• Managing & prioritizing multiple concurrent fast-paced projects with unmatched attention to detail
• Managing a queue of website maintenance related requests for a variety of clients, anything from, security patches, new page builds, content administration, or small functionality enhancements
• Understanding the client's goals, objectives, and requirements, and translating them into an actionable project plan
• Creating briefs, statements of work, and detailed schedules
• Forecasting, tracking, and managing project budgets, purchase orders, and invoices
• Finding the right team to work on your projects (resourcing), while working with a team of Project Managers to manage teams with conflicting priorities
• Working closely with clients, internal multi-disciplinary teams and vendors, acting as the primary point of contact through project delivery
• Managing and maintaining scope, and communicating the status of the project scope to both internal and external teams
• Managing, documenting and communicating risks, changes, and issues that affect the project
• Creating a positive, collaborative and team-oriented work environment
