What You'll Be DoingTeam Leadership & Staff Development
- Lead, coach, and empower a team of administrative professionals, including managers and supervisors across customer support, accounts receivable, and operations support.
- Hire and onboard top talent while ensuring ongoing training, growth, and engagement.
- Build a collaborative, high-performance culture focused on quality, integrity, and service.
- Support department leaders in employee relations, coaching, and policy adherence.
- Ensure the Concord office runs efficiently and safely—overseeing services, vendors, contracts, and supplies.
- Recommend and implement technology and tools that enhance productivity and service delivery.
- Support enhancements to our website and customer service tools through training and feedback.
- Participate in leadership meetings focused on receivables and financial performance.
- Oversee payroll input, HR documentation, and pension/benefits reporting.
- Track and process vendor payments, inter-company payables, petty cash, and expense reports.
- Manage monthly accruals and reconciliations with a focus on accuracy and timeliness.
- Act as a point of escalation for complex customer service issues—bringing poise, speed, and solutions.
- Support internal teams by providing leadership, clarity, and follow-through across departments.
- 10+ years of experience in administration within the transportation or logistics industry.
- 5+ years in a leadership or management role with a track record of building successful teams.
- Strong financial acumen and experience working with payables, payroll, and accounting support.
- Exceptional communication, conflict resolution, and organizational skills.
- A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to pivot quickly in a dynamic environment.
- Experience with change management and driving process improvements.
- Flexibility to support a national operation spanning multiple time zones.
- Competitive Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 per year
