Position: Vehicle Delivery Specialist

Location: Peterborough

Job Summary:

As a Vehicle Delivery Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional customer service while supporting the sales team with essential administrative and operational tasks. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate customer information in the CRM, assisting with sold vehicle deliveries, and contributing to the visual merchandising of our online inventory.

This entry-level role includes support in obtaining your Ontario Motor Vehicle Industry Council(OMVIC) license and offers a growth path within the dealership to gain extensive automotive sales knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

1. CRM Management

- Input and update customer information accurately in the CRM system, ensuring

all details and follow-up activities are well-documented.

- Track customer interactions, follow-ups, and sales progress.

- Keep an organized CRM database to provide valuable customer insights for the

sales team.


2. Customer Engagement & Sales Support

- Conduct thorough vehicle walk-throughs with customers on delivery, ensuring

they are comfortable with their vehicle's features and functionality.

- Maintain high customer satisfaction by answering questions and addressing

concerns promptly.

- Assist in resolving customer inquiries and forward complex issues to senior

associates or managers as needed.


3. Vehicle Delivery Coordination

- Arrange vehicle delivery schedules based on customer preferences, either for

dealership pick-up or home delivery.

- Confirm delivery appointments with customers, ensuring all necessary paperwork

and processes are complete and organized.

- Ensure vehicles are prepared for customer handover, including final checks for

cleanliness and readiness.


4. Vehicle Merchandising & Online Inventory

- Assist in vehicle check-ins by capturing high-quality photos of new and pre-

owned vehicles for upload to the website.

- Ensure all vehicle images are accurate, up-to-date, and visually appealing to

enhance the online presentation.

- Support the sales team in creating a consistent, appealing visual experience for

customers browsing online.


5. Administrative Support

- Collaborate with the sales team to execute day-to-day tasks and support ongoing

sales initiatives.

- Assist in generating sales reports and performance metrics for department

reviews.

- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Sales Manager or team members.


Key Performance Areas (KPAs):

- CRM Accuracy: Ensure up-to-date and accurate records in the CRM with minimal

errors.

- Customer Satisfaction: Maintain high customer satisfaction through timely

communication and excellent service during delivery.

- Delivery Process Efficiency: Ensure vehicle deliveries are completed smoothly and on

schedule.

- Vehicle Merchandising Quality: Ensure vehicle photos and online information are

accurate and visually appealing.

- Professional Development: Demonstrate willingness to learn and grow within the sales

team, including obtaining an OMVIC license with our support.


Qualifications:

- Driver's License: Must possess a valid driver's license.

- Interest in Obtaining OMVIC License: Willingness to obtain an OMVIC license

(training and support will be provided).

- Basic understanding of CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.

- Strong organizational, multitasking, and interpersonal communication skills.

- Previous experience in customer service or sales (automotive experience is a plus).

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.


Work Environment:

- Full-time position, with occasional evening or weekend availability based on customer

needs or sales events.
