Job Title: Construction Administrator (Full-Time)
Location: 2000 Thurston Dr. Suite 25, Ottawa, ON, K1G 4K7
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay Rate: $21 - $25 depending on experience

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Construction Administrator to join our team. This full-time role supports construction project operations by managing documentation, coordinating communication, and ensuring smooth administrative processes. The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to project managers and site supervisors
  • Manage and organize project documentation, permits, and reporting to project managers
  • Track scheduling, project costing, and progress across multiple projects
  • Sending out staffing and scheduling emails
  • Maintain accurate records and filing systems
  • Organize invoices and support the accounting team
  • Support compliance with regulations and internal safety procedures
  • Prepare the construction of job site safety boards with our H&S manager
  • Audit and maintain worker qualifications with our H&S manager
  • Assist with health and safety programs and procedures
  • Help build our COR2020 safety program.
  • Prepare and download tender documentation along with closeout documentation
  • Work with project managers and estimators on searching tender websites along with safety / compliance platforms.

Qualifications:

  • A university degree is required; education in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field is a plus
  • Bilingual in English and French is preferred
  • Strong office and administrative skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
  • Comfortable working independently and within a collaborative team environment
  • Knowledge of the construction industry is an asset
  • Previous experience with health and safety procedures is a plus
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance
  • References will be requested as part of the hiring process
