We are currently seeking dedicated and hardworking Harvesting Operators to join our team for the upcoming harvest season.

Job Overview:
As a Harvesting Operator, you will be responsible for operating mechanical blueberry harvesters in the field. This is a hands-on, physically active role that supports the efficient and timely collection of blueberries during peak harvest periods. Candidates should be comfortable working outdoors, handling machinery, and maintaining a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate mechanical wild blueberry harvesters safely and efficiently

• Perform daily inspections and light maintenance of harvesting equipment

• Monitor blueberry quality during harvesting to ensure minimal fruit loss or damage

• Follow field supervisor instructions regarding harvest speed, depth, and direction

• Assist with loading and unloading harvested fruit

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of equipment and work area

• Report mechanical issues or unsafe conditions promptly

Requirements:

• Previous experience operating agricultural machinery preferred (but training will be provided)

• Able to work long hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends during harvest

• Physically fit and capable of working outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Reliable, punctual, and a team player

• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada

Season Dates:

• Expected duration: July, August, September and October

Compensation:

• Competitive hourly wage or piece-rate depending on experience

• Opportunities for returning seasonal work
