Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Representative to join our grocery store team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting customers, promoting products, maintaining stock levels, and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction. This role plays a key part in driving sales and enhancing the overall shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers and provide assistance in a friendly and professional manner

• Recommend products, upsell promotions, and explain features or benefits

• Ensure shelves are stocked, organized, and properly labeled

• Monitor product inventory and inform management of low-stock items

• Assist in setting up displays, signage, and promotional materials

• Handle customer complaints or concerns effectively and escalate when needed

• Process sales transactions using the store's point-of-sale (POS) system

• Stay up to date on product knowledge, pricing, and promotions

• Support cleanliness and organization of sales floor and storage areas

• Work collaboratively with other team members to meet store goals

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Prior retail or sales experience preferred, especially in food/grocery

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Customer-focused with a positive and helpful attitude

• Ability to lift moderate weights and stand for extended periods

• Basic math and computer skills
