Our Pharmacy is the longest standing independent pharmacy in Quesnel, offering impeccable service and support for our customers. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician/Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support pharmacists in providing excellent patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of the pharmacy.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
• Provide exceptional patient care by answering questions and addressing concerns regarding medications.
• Maintain accurate records of medication administration and inventory management.
• Support the pharmacy team in managing prescriptions, including refills and transfers.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and safety protocols within the pharmacy environment.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes through effective medication management.
• Stay updated on medical terminology and pharmaceutical products to enhance service delivery.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to pharmaceuticals.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare staff.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are essential for managing multiple tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of accuracy and patient care.
