Purchasing Agent

Responsibilities will include:

• Preparing and executing RFQs to overseas & local vendors
• Issuing Purchase orders and quotes
• Sourcing local and overseas vendors, negotiating and finalizing agreements
• Follow-ups with suppliers for order confirmation and delivery
• Research/Sourcing products
• Basic understanding of engineering drawings and asset
• Liaise with various departments
• Liaise with cross functional teams such as suppliers, production and customer service to ensure goods are available to meet production requirements on time
• Negotiating terms and delivery for lowest total cost
• Continually seek opportunities to improve services and reduce costs including freight

Qualifications:

• Proficient Mandarin & English communication and written skills
• Math skills
• Spire is an Asset
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Strong Computer Skills
• Able to multitask
• Organized
