Make an impact when it matters most.
Join a team that responds FIRST (urgency is our middle name), works fast, and brings peace of mind to people facing disaster. At First Onsite, we don't just restore properties-we restore hope.

We are currently hiring an Emergency Mitigation Manager who thrives under pressure, leads with confidence, and brings top-tier emergency services and remediation expertise to the scene. If you're committed to excellence, and ready to grow your career in a national, purpose-driven organization-this is your moment.

A Day in the Life of an Emergency Mitigation Manager

Imagine this: The phone rings, there's been a flood, and you're the calm in the chaos. As an Emergency Mitigation Manager, you're the boots on the ground-leading the charge when disaster strikes. Whether it's a burst pipe in a high-rise or a fire in a family home, you step in to assess the damage, organize the crew, and kick off the plan to put lives and properties back together.

You'll start the day by coordinating with your team and checking the emergency response plan. From there, it's all about action: reviewing the scope of work, ensuring safety protocols are in place, and guiding your Restoration Technicians like a seasoned field general. You're also the go-to for adjusters and clients-translating chaos into clarity and timelines.

With your deep knowledge of water, mold, and asbestos remediation (and your ability to follow IICRC S-500 like a champ), you make sure every job meets the highest standards. You might wrap up the day mentoring a new tech, troubleshooting a challenge, or-let's be honest-getting a call about the next urgent job. No two days are the same, but that's what keeps it exciting.

If you're passionate about problem-solving, ready to lead under pressure, and want to make a real impact, then this role is your next big move.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years' experience in the restoration/emergency services industry as a lead water damage technician or equal
  • IICRC Certifications
  • Must have experience leading and managing a team
  • Knowledge of drying sciences and application of cleaning agents for specific losses such as sewage back-up claims and mold claims
  • Proficient in Demos and strip outs
  • Ability to use the moisture reading instruments for correct and thorough moisture investigation and reporting.
  • Knowledge of the capability and limitations of all equipment used in water damaged environments.
  • FULL G drivers license
  • Ability to pass a background check
