Darling International Canada Inc., is Canada's largest provider of animal by-product processing and recycling services to the food industry, operating six processing facilities across Canada. POSITION SUMMARY:

We are offering a summer position for students looking for an opportunity to work with an environmentally friendly, sustainable company. This role would be responsible for travelling to sites throughout the region maintaining and washing in the wash bay. Washing equipment of truck and trailers. This is a short-term contract role starting immediately to October 3, 2025. Candidates must have a Class 5 Driver's license with a clean drivers abstract.

SCHEDULE:

Monday to Friday (Days)

6:00 am - 2:00 pm - two weeks rotating shift

10:00 am - 8:00 pm - two weeks rotating shift

WE OFFER:

• $19.00 Per Hour
• Overtime after 40 hours

QUALIFICATIONS:

• University or college student
• Able to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Comfortable working outdoors
• Comfortable using High pressure hose
• Able to work with a team as well as independently
• Good communication skills
• Responsible for travelling to the customer sites and washing, painting and decaling the bins
• Work safely at all times and report any unsafe conditions to supervisors
• Promote and comply with Health and Safety, GMP, HACCP regulations and Company policies and procedures
• Must be comfortable travelling through the Winnipeg and surrounding areas. Will also include trips to Brandon, Portage La Prairie Manitoba and smaller communities to service customers in that area.
• Ensure that wash van is properly equipped with needed materials before leaving the facility.
• Must submit completed weekly task sheets.
• Washing and sanitizing of Bins
• Completion of grade 12
• Valid Class 5 License
• Ability to travel for work
• Clean Drivers Abstract
