Job Description

UAP Inc. is looking to expand their technician team by adding a technician to support the automated warehouse system of their Cambridge facility.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following key activities:

  • Perform maintenance on installed systems to ensure consistent functionality and reliability.
  • Manage maintenance operations and spare parts inventory to enhance efficiency.
  • Accurately document technical activities in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Provide prompt, effective support to operations with a “right first time” focus.
  • Participate in operations meetings and deliver emergency maintenance as needed.
  • Proactively address maintenance issues and manage internal escalations professionally.
  • Monitor and optimize maintenance processes, ensuring timely response and compliance with quality standards.
  • Collaborate with operations to maintain and improve system performance.
Qualifications

Candidates should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Technical diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Mechanical, or Automation disciplines.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting mechanical and electrical schematics.
  • Knowledgeable in industrial automation, including sensor technologies and pneumatic/hydraulic systems.
  • Experienced in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults.
  • Skilled in routine maintenance and commissioning of mechatronic systems.
  • Familiar with CMMS tools and well-versed in Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) metrics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to optimize automated system performance.
