The Analyst, Optimization & Business Systems will manage business systems and processes for various internal business programs, including Vendor Management and Virtual Meeting programs. In addition, the Analyst, Optimization & Business Systems will assist in process improvement and revenue improvement projects through skilled data discovery, analysis and reporting. The Analyst, Optimization & Business Systems will also support meeting the various objectives, initiatives and projects of the Internal Operations team. It is essential that the Analyst is extremely detailed and results oriented, along with having excellent time management and organizational skills.Duties & Responsibilities Financial and Operational Analysis- Support the Director in business planning and analysis, providing detailed insights into Market operations and performance
- Create and manage pricing models for services, while ensuring that budgeted profitability is met
- Maintain various databases of vital client and company operational information
- Manage in timely and effective delivery of improvement initiatives and projects through data discovery, data entry, analysis and reporting, using tools such as Power BI
- Identifies business inefficiencies and recommends improvements
- Responsible for the management and maintenance of the vendor management system, as well as the creation of the preferred vendor list
- Ensures that all vendors used by FirstService Residential Associates meet compliance and regulation requirements
- Prepare reports on vendor management system by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends
- Responsible for developing and maintaining a suite of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the new vendor management system
- Manage virtual meeting requests and workflows using the SmartSheet with accountability for timely responses
- Review submitted requests and verify details provided. Once verified, generate and send quotation to requestor
- If quotation is accepted, send Acknowledgement form to the Client for signing
- Coordinate with Virtual Meeting service provider in scheduling the meeting.
- 3+ years working experience in a financial operational and/or technology role is strongly preferred
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft equipment, operating systems, software and browsers
- Knowledge and experience with other internet applications, web browsers and software, including mobile devices and apps
- Demonstrates leadership qualities and abilities
- Works well independently and as a team player, with a passion for customer satisfaction
- Excellent written and verbal comprehension and communication skills
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
- Self-starter with the ability to prioritize and multi-task to meet deadlines
- Highly organized and attentive to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and Power BI or other visualization applications require
