Your mission in this role is to support the Regional Account Managers in executing on the key performance indicators of our retail strategy.
Responsibilities forFieldSales Development Representative
- Maintain a self-starter attitude while creating outreach strategies for new lead generation methods
- Anticipate needs by studying services and conducting market research toidentifynewopportunities
- Supporting applicable Regional Account Manager(s) on outbound strategies and lead generating efforts
- Attend product training conferences and develop an understanding of our communication infrastructure-
- Monitor and attend meetings with prospects while handling the introductions and follow-up with the sales representatives
- Be the first point of contact for new business prospects anddeterminethe next steps for each prospect moving forward
- Establish active communication and engagement with prospects to create new leads and sales openings
- Collaborate with sales teams by bringing innovative lead generation ideas to each weekly meeting
- Work within the parameters of Company policies and procedures
- Lead follow-ups with customers and document/record wins
Qualifications for Field Sales Development Representative
- Must be available for frequent travel, across Ontario
- Must have a valid Drivers License and reliable transportation
- Ideal candidatewillhave avalidcredit card for travel expenses
- Must be available to spend up to ~10 overnight stays per month. Expectation of traveling 3-4 days per week. Some day day travel; some overnight. Depending on location(s) visiting on each trip.
- Flawless communication skills, both written and oral, with extensive public speaking experience
- Experience working with building materials is an asset
- Demonstrated ability to work solo as well as being a productive team member, making outbound calls every day
- Has experience using Salesforce or other CRM software
- Must be an excellent problem-solver and willing to collaborate in an exceedingly competitive environment
- Thorough understanding of commercial awareness and brand recognition to successfullyestablishrapport with prospects
- Junior to mid-level related experience
- Eastern Ontario home location preferred but not required; ability to travel across Ontario
Education
- Relativebuilding material industrywork experienceis an asset
- College Diplomaat minimum (preferred)
