Position Summary
The Senior Civil Engineer will lead the design and execution of land and site development projects across our growing industrial portfolio. This individual will work closely with the ownership and executive leadership groups to help shape systems, oversee construction, drive approvals, and guide servicing strategies across a large and growing development portfolio.

This role is ideal for a highly agile professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, wants to take ownership of hands-on and high-impact work, and is ready to step into a role that goes beyond traditional design - driving approvals, overseeing construction, and shaping servicing strategies at scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead civil design for industrial land and site development projects.

• Collaborate with ownership, construction, and municipal stakeholders to drive approvals.

• Oversee servicing strategies, grading plans, drainage, and utility coordination.

• Conduct site inspections and feasibility assessments.

• Work closely with construction teams to ensure designs are practical, buildable, and on-budget.

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship as the team scales.

• Build and refine internal processes for efficiency and repeatability.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• P.Eng designation in Alberta.

• 7+ years of experience in civil engineering with a focus on land development.

• Demonstrated success in fast-paced, high growth environments.

• Proven track record of delivering subdivision and site servicing projects.

• Deep understanding of grading, stormwater, sanitary, and water systems.

• Effectively navigates municipal approvals and works directly with city staff.

• A bias toward action and a desire to see your work built.

• Strong communicator with the ability to coordinate with clients and contractors.

• Leadership experience in managing teams and cross-functional collaboration.

• Demonstrated ability to build, implement, and optimize systems for increased productivity.

• Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate challenges, develop innovative solutions, and drive continuous improvement.

• A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
