Role Description

Our group of companies is rapidly growing, and we are seeking an energetic, self-motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our finance and accounting team. This is a junior-intermediate level role with the opportunity to grow into a controller position for the right individual.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, the full-time Corporate Accountant will perform day-to-day financial accounting functions (bookkeeping, reconciliations), analyze financial data, and ad-hoc administrative tasks for our group of companies. This is an on-site position is located at our newly renovated office in Port Coquitlam.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
• 1-3 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, ideally within the construction industry
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience working in Quickbooks or equivalent
• Clear communicator with the ability to work collaboratively with different departments
• Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a recognized institution

Salary Range:

• $65,000-$75,000 (w/ Benefits) is an indicative range for this position, depending on experience. The final salary offered may differ depending on the candidate and qualifications.
