About the Role
The Jewish Foundation of Greater Toronto is seeking a dynamic and solutions-focused Application and Integration Support Specialist to lead, manage, and optimize our ecosystem of business applications. This role is essential in ensuring the success of our akoyaGO platform, its integrations with third-party tools, and broader data strategy / integration across the entire UJA organization. You will be a strategic partner to the Foundation team and play a key role in vendor coordination, technical support, process improvements, and solution development.
Key Responsibilities
Platform and Systems Support
Serve as the primary administrator and internal expert for:
- akoyaGO (Charitable Foundation CRM & platforms including but not limited to GOfund, GOdonate and GOapply)
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (Finance system)
- Microsoft PowerApps, Power BI
- Email Marketing Platforms (e.g., Pardot, Mailchimp, or similar)
- Event Management, online giving, tributes, peer-to-peer platforms
- Troubleshoot and manage support issues including workflow failures, system bugs, and user access concerns.
- Participate in weekly vendor check-ins with akoyaGO, tracking support tickets, enhancement requests, and post-release testing.
- Monitor akoyaGO product releases and proactively test workflows and customizations to mitigate business impact.
Integration and Data Management
- Lead and support data integration efforts between akoyaGO, Salesforce, email marketing platforms, and other systems.
- Work with internal departments to identify data governance issues and deliver cross-platform functionality.
- Serve as a liaison between business teams, IT, and vendors for integration design, testing, and implementation.
Communication Tools & Preferences
- Support the Foundation's transition to an email marketing solution to replace Pardot/Salesforce-based communication tracking.
- Develop solutions for managing communication preferences and audience segmentation across platforms.
Implementation & Project Management
- Assist in the implementation of GOdonate (online giving platform).
- Manage ongoing development of donation platforms including CrowdChange and akoyaGOs giving module.
- Collaborate with teams to implement efficient, scalable workflows for fundraising, donor stewardship, and reporting.
Vendor and Contractual Oversight
- Act as technical liaison for vendors like akoyaGO, email marketing vendors, and CrowdChange.
- Hold vendors accountable to service levels and provide feedback on performance.
- Participate in planning and improvements related to platform functionality.
Training & Knowledge Sharing
- Train staff and users on changes, features, and best practices.
- Maintain internal documentation and facilitate knowledge transfer.
- Recommend conference participation (e.g., akoyaGO Annual Conference) and managing representation.
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in information systems, Computer Science, or related field.
- 35 years in application support, CRM administration, or business systems integration.
- Experience with akoyaGO or similar platforms, and Microsoft Power Platform is highly desirable.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics (especially Business Central).
- Advanced skills in PowerApps, Power BI, and Power Automate.
- Familiarity with donor advised funds, fundraising operations, and grant management.
- Strong understanding of data workflows and change management.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
Preferred Experience
- Experience with Salesforce CRM
- Experience managing third-party platforms like GOdonate, CrowdChange, and Classy.
- Comfort working across technology, fundraising, and finance teams.
