Position Summary

Nanalysis is a manufacturer and global supplier of Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) and Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) products for the laboratory instrumentation market.

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Sales to lead our global sales efforts for our advanced Nuclear Magnetic Resonance (NMR) scientific instrumentation business. This role will play a pivotal part in driving top-line revenue growth, expanding margins, strengthening strategic partnerships, and building a high-performance sales organization aligned with our company's long-term vision.

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

Drive Revenue & Margin Growth

  • Develop and execute sales strategies that deliver sustainable revenue and margin growth.
  • Monitor key performance metrics and adjust tactics as necessary to exceed financial targets.

Strengthen Strategic Partnerships

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, channel partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Identify and cultivate new opportunities for partnership and collaboration across global markets.

Sales Leadership & Strategy

  • Provide visionary and hands-on leadership to the global sales team.
  • Align sales goals with corporate strategy, and support cross-functional collaboration with marketing, R&D, and customer service.
  • Lead regular sales forecasting, pipeline management, and sales performance reviews.

Talent Attraction & Development

  • Recruit, mentor, and retain top sales talent with a passion for scientific advancement.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous learning within the sales organization.

Background and Experience Sought:

  • Progressive experience as a sales professional in a laboratory or scientific instrumentation organization including at least 10 years of leadership experience.
  • Deep understanding of a capital equipment sales cycle.
  • Demonstrated success developing strategic revenue growth in multiple markets.
  • Deep understanding of scientific applications, with NMR knowledge an asset.
  • Comfortable delivering technical presentations, product training, and industry seminars.
  • Able to translate customer needs into actionable sales strategies and product development feedback.
  • MS or PhD in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline an asset.
  • Prior laboratory experience, with NMR experience an asset.
  • Fluency in English required; French is an asset.
