Job Title: Facility Assistant (Part-Time)
Location: National Soccer Development Centre (NSDC), Vancouver, BC
Department: Administration
Reports to: Coordinator, Facilities

Position Summary:

Vancouver Whitecaps FC is seeking a dynamic and proactive Facility Assistant to support the daily operations of our world-class training facility at the National Soccer Development Centre (NSDC). This hands-on role is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient environment for athletes, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the NSDC building, grounds, and equipment are clean, well-maintained, and in good working order.
  • Support the Coordinator, Facilities in all aspects of facility operations.
  • Identify and address recurring maintenance and repair issues.
  • Maintain accurate inventory of supplies and complete routine logs and reports.
  • Perform driving duties as required.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and initiative to support various additional operational tasks.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform physical tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, especially under pressure.
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A valid and clean BC drivers license.
  • High level of professionalism and discretion essential for this role.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in Canada. This is an on-site role.
