Lucky Duckling Daycare is a licensed, play-based childcare center located in a warm and welcoming home environment. We are dedicated to providing high-quality care that supports the developmental needs of children ages 0-5. Our infant and toddler program focuses on nurturing relationships, responsive routines, and engaging early learning experiences.

Position Summary:

We are seeking a caring, dedicated, and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator to join our infant and toddler team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with young children and a strong understanding of child development, particularly in the 0–3 age group.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate environment for infants and toddlers.

• Follow individualized care routines (feeding, napping, diapering) with consistency and compassion.

• Plan and implement play-based activities that support early learning and growth in all developmental domains.

• Foster strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and coworkers.

• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and hygiene in the classroom and shared spaces.

• Follow licensing regulations, health and safety protocols, and daycare policies.

• Participate in team meetings, training, and professional development.

Qualifications:

• ECE Certificate

• Valid First Aid & CPR-C in childcare certification

• Criminal Record Check clearance (including vulnerable sector)

• Up-to-date Immunization Record

• 3 references

• Strong communication skills and a warm, team-oriented attitude

• Experience working with infants and toddlers is an asset
