Overview


Reporting to the Manager of Residential Marketing, the Marketing Coordinator will drive innovative marketing strategies for our multi-family residential portfolio and The MARQ Student Residences. This role offers a blend of creative strategy, hands-on execution, and community building in the fast-paced real estate industry.


The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive marketing initiatives that enhance resident experience, drive engagement, and build strong communities across our properties. This role will explore new vendor relationships and continuously assess existing suppliers to ensure optimal pricing, quality, and service standards are maintained.


Key Responsibilities

Brand & Creative Management

Oversee brand consistency across all marketing materials and touchpoints. Manage and update brand guidelines for typography, composition, and colour standards. Create compelling marketing collateral, including brochures, digital ads, signage, and promotional materials. Coordinate photography and videography shoots to maintain visual brand standards. Manage creative asset library and digital asset management (DAM) system.


Resident Communications & Engagement

Lead day-to-day resident communications across the entire portfolio. Draft and distribute resident-facing emails, ensuring brand alignment and compliance. Develop engaging email campaigns to support lead nurturing and resident retention. Create on-brand newsletters and social media content. Provide copywriting support for print materials and branded collateral.


Community Building & Events

Plan and execute resident engagement programs, including game nights, contests, charity drives, and movie screenings. Develop segmented experience programs that foster community connection and retention. Coordinate resident surveys and analyze satisfaction metrics (CSAT, NPS scores). Create digital screen content and community programming materials
Digital Marketing & Reputation Management Manage Google Business Profiles and online reputation initiatives. Monitor and respond to online reviews to enhance brand presence. Assist with website and landing page design projects.

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

Build and maintain relationships with advertising partners and suppliers. Obtain competitive quotes and manage vendor relationships. Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to brand standards. Collaborate with printers for quality control and delivery coordination.


Market Intelligence & Compliance

Conduct competitive market research and analysis. Maintain awareness of industry trends and positioning opportunities. Work with Residential Marketing Manager to ensure all materials meet regulatory requirements. Provide market insights to the leadership team.


Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field;

3-5 years of corporate marketing experience, preferably in fast-paced environments

Real estate industry experience is an asset;

Proven track record of developing and implementing marketing initiatives independently;

Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously;

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences;

Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel);

Detail-oriented approach with strong analytical and reasoning abilities;

Self-motivated with ability to work independently and take ownership of results;

Highly motivated self-starter who thrives in deadline-driven environments;

Creative thinker with strong attention to detail;

Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills;

Adaptable and eager to learn new tools and technologies.
